Encapsulated papillary carcinoma (EPC) is a rare type of breast cancer. The tumour is composed of epithelial cells forming papillae with fibrovascular cores. The tumour is well-circumscribed and surrounded by a fibrous capsule. Most EPCs lack p63-positive myoepithelial cells both within the papillae and at the periphery of the tumour.
