Granular cell tumour is a benign neural tumour derived from Schwann cells associated with peripheral nerves. Common locations for this tumour include soft tissue sites, the tongue, the gastrointestinal tract, and the respiratory tract. When immunohistochemistry is performed, the tumour cells are positive for neural markers such as S100 and markers of lysosomes including CD68.
